The Yanaizu factory is operating on highly
accumulated production engineering and through
quality management. FMS, or flexible manufacturing
system, is employed making the full use of
computer-controlled process management and
automation using industrial robots and other
state-of-the-art machinery. The plant is
making confident steps forward as a pioneer
of the industry.

| Simon is conducting the endless pursuit of
safety and an intense search for healthful
and well-fitting products. Our research and
development makes full use of our powerful
database based on ergonomics, or human engineering.
From the design stage, 2-dimensional and
3-dimensional simulations by CAD/CAM are
carried out in search of optimal wearing
comfort and safety. This way, our plans are
being put into forms most rationally. |
